I went to Opium at the HardRock last weekend and I'm currently in a dispute with them through Wachovia. The bartender was a complete asshole (Jonathan). I tried to get one of the female bartenders to get me a drink and she spoke to me like I was a complete idiot because I didn't open my tab with her (I have NEVER been to a bar where they're so incompetent...its there job you would think they'd want tips and I was always polite). She could have earned a few extra bucks by helping me (she had NO customers by the way and it makes you wonder why). When I go out I expect to spend money and I have no problem doing so, I also like to consider myself a great tipper. They tried to overcharge me and then lied about including gratuity and wouldn't print me out a receipt with the prices of the drinks written out. It was so shady. It made me feel like they were hiding something on my receipt. The exact words of the bartender “What do I have to do to get you to sign the receipt, I just need it signed”…all I wanted was an explanation. I gave in and signed it, shame on me but I had no other choice he wouldn’t return my card and ID. Turns out they overcharged me TWICE!!! I will never go back there, neither will anyone we know and trust me we are spreading the word. We also saw people selling drugs while we were in there so everyone beware. I love the HardRock but the past few times my girlfriends and I have been there we have been treated terribly. They seem to be getting ruder and ruder. They're going to learn the hard way and in the mean time my beautiful friends and I will be taking our business elsewhere.

The doormen and that yellow bitch at OPIUM is the same asswholes from club nikki marina. They just moved from one location to the next. They should have kept fucking club SPIRITS at least there all money was green everytime I went. I hate these clubs that pick and choose because then I have to pick and choose my frends because of the discrimination and racism. Honey if you too dark or too fat you damn sure not getting in OPIUM. As soon as I went to club OPIUM and saw the same doormen and the yellow bitch from last time who was doing all this picking and choosing I turned around and put my money back in my pocket and I usually get in but it disgusts me the way these people fucking operate. Especially after the incident where my friend could not get in but I could. I have even seen a girl get kicked out the line for vouching for a friend to get in and the bouncer decided not to let them both in, now that was ridiculous.

I know the "yellow bitch" you talk about personally and she is not racist..her husband is black and so are almost all of her friends including me...she just has to abide by the bullshit the doorman says...she actually went to management and spoke about the blatent racism that occurs after seeing it first hand...she risked a good business deal to do so because she thought what was going on was rediculous...so calm down and chill out...maybe if you wern't so militant and angry you would have got in!
I've never been to opium when it was in miami beach. I went there this past weekend when it opened at the hardrock and I have to say, I was very pissed off and will never waste my time going back. First off, the same asshole that does the door at mansion, was at the door at opium. I sat in line for over an hour watching him let people in, that were all the way behind me. He picks and chooses who he wants to let in. I kept tapping him and trying to get his attention to ask him if he was ever gonna let me in and his rude ass kept ignoring me, like my money wasn't good enough or something. A lot of people were noticing the same thing as me and walking off the line pissed off and taking their business elsewhere as I eventually did. I never even got let in after standing in line all that time. This club lost a lot of business that night because that asshole at the door seems to decide who gets in and who doesn't. At least, if he didn't wanna let me in for whatever reason, he could've at least told me I can't get in and I would've had a lot more time in the next club I went to. I spend good money in these clubs and am an attractive female. I just moved out here, so I don't know a lot of people and it seems that the only way to get into opium or mansion is if you bring a whole shit load of bitches with you. I don't know who that doorman thinks he is or what type of suckers he thinks he can treat people like that are spending good money to go up in these clubs. Never before have I been treated this way in any clubs I've ever gone to, infact, in clubs in NY I've gone to, I'm ususally up in there for free n in v.i.p---so, this dude that does the doors at mansion and opium can kiss my ass and I hope the owners of these clubs realize that they're losing a lot of business by the way this dickhead is treating their customers.
